| Battling Stage Fright (SPAAC04) | I can't find my voice. The thought of getting up on stage makes me want to pass out. I get on stage and freeze! I could never do that! If the thought of standing out and speaking up fills you with fear then perhaps it is time to take the plunge. Supportive and professional teachers and a class full of fellow fraidy cats will help you feel safe in confronting your fear and trying something you never thought you could do. | So You Think You Can't Dance (SPAAC05) | You love acting, adore singing but when it comes to dancing you've got two left feet. Basic choreography is baffling. The box step is a mystery. Not anymore! Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to cut a rug in our class designed to take the jitter out of the jitterbug. With a bit of practice you'll find it isn't so hard to master a few basic steps and to feel more comfortable moving and grooving. What is Speeding Bullet?
48 hours! Participants receive an inspiration package that they will use as the basis of their creation. These inspiration packages could involve anything from lines of poetry, a lighting special, a piece of choreography, a special prop, an image, a sound, a stage direction, etc. Once groups have received their inspiration package, they have 48 hours to create, write, rehearse and perform their creations. Who can join? Anyone. You can put together a team of up to five of your favourite creative friends, clear your schedule for February 3rd to 5th, choose a group name, and sign up online. Cost per team is only $50, that’s ten bucks a head. Exclusive rules of engagement will be sent to you upon receipt of your completed, paid registration. What’s in it for me? Glory. You will perform your original work to an enthusiatic crowd at our First Annual Speeding Bullet Cabaret.
